Ulgrim’s Drinking Contest

Ulgrim the Unpleasant of Ayan Baqur wants to challenge you to a drinking contest, but first you must retrieve his contest mug. It seems the small golems on his island raided his basement and stole Ulgrim’s Contest Mug.
To get to Ulgrim’s Island, you must bring Wah Chon’s Winter Lager(purchased from Wah Chon in Nanto) to the Drunken Madman. The fastest way to the Drunken Madman is to give Ulgrim some Sake. He will open a portal directly to the Drunken Madman.
You allow Ulgrim the Unpleasant to examine your Sake.
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, “Ugh! I hate this stuff, but I have a friend who likes it. Maybe you should drop in on him.”
(Ulgrim then proceeds to open a portal).
Go through the portal to “drop in” on the Drunken Madman. Give him the winter lager to get to Ulgrim’s Island.
You give Drunken Madman Wah Chon’s Winter Lager.
Drunken Madman tells you, “What’s this? It doesn’t look like sake.”
Drunken Madman tells you, “Not Sake!? NOT Sake! YOU!!! I’ll g…”
Drunken Madman tells you, “Oh right, you must want to see Ulgrim. He said people might be looking for him. Ok, I’ll portal you there this time, but next time you better bring me sake!”
(Drunken Madman then proceeds to open a portal).
Ulgrim’s Island is actually a set of two islands. The one you arrive at has no monsters, and is full of all of Ulgrim’s trinkets and his home. The second island to the northwest is full of small golems. You must hunt the golems here until they drop Ulgrim’s Contest Mug.
Once you have the mug, bring it back to Ulgrim to start the drinking contest. Be ready, he will not wait for you to start.
You give Ulgrim the Unpleasant Ulgrim’s Contest Mug.
Ulgrim clears his throat and announces “Attention my avid fans! I have been challenged to a Drinking Contest by (Player Name Here)! We shall begin in a few seconds.”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, “Make this look good kid, I have a reputation to keep here.”
Ulgrim opens a backpack and starts arranging a number of Mug in the Sand. He sits five before you and five before himself and carefully fills them each with a small keg labled “Ulgrim’s Best”. The keg has a image of Ulgrim giving a thumbs up painted on it.
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, “There we go. Now, I must prepare.”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, “We will begin in five seconds!”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, “4″
Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, “3″
Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, “2″
Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, “Begin”
At this point there are 5 mugs on the ground in front of you and Ulgrim. The goal is to drink 5 before Ulgrim does. You must drink from each mug once. If you defeat Ulgrim, you will receive the title of “Ulgrim’s Drinking Buddy.”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, “You beat me! I can’t believe I lost.”
Ulgrim really looks at you for the first time and smiles in admiration.
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, “It’s a pleasure to drink with you my friend!”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, “For besting me at my own game I’m making you one of my Drinking Buddies. Come back and drink with me anytime!”
If you lose the contest to Ulgrim, you will henceforth be known as the Master of the Porcelain Altar.
Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, “Five! Haha! I win again!”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, “For coming in second place I award you a title befitting of your drinking prowess.”
Once you defeat Ulgrim ten times, you will receive his final title, Master of the Mystical Mug. You will also recieve a reward, the Mystical Mug.
Ulgrim stops to pose for onlookers with his stout mug held high.
Ulgrim the Unpleasant says, “You have truly bested me. I bow to you in my humble defeat.”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, “My my, you really have been practicing! I believe this is the 10th time you’ve beaten me. I think… no.”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant tells you, “Yes, I think you are ready. You have achieved the coveted rank of “Master of the Mystical Mug”. You are entrusted with the safekeeping of the Mystical Mug. Keep it well protected, for there are many dark forces that would love to get their claws on it.”
Ulgrim the Unpleasant gives you Mystical Mug.
The Mystical Mug is a housing item that can be used on a floor or yard hook. When used, it casts “Iron Stomach” on you which is a +50 stamina cantrip. You must defeat Ulgrim 10 times to use it.
Mystical Mug cast Cast Iron Stomach on you.
An extra sense of stability infuses your being.
